Habib Bousleiman was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1984, where he acquired his B.Sc. in biomedical engineering at the American University of Science and Technology in 2006.
After spending a year working in the med-tech industry, Habib moved to Switzerland to resume his academic work. He later obtained his M.Sc. from ETH Zürich in 2009 and his Ph.D. from the University of Bern in 2012, both in biomedical engineering. He subsequently worked as a scientific data analyst and software engineer at the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology of the Hospital of the University of Basel.
During his career, Habib developed his experience in several topics, including medical image and signal processing, software engineering, geometric and computational modeling and simulation, and statistics. He has also acquired a good understanding of the medical sciences and clinical applications that are essential to working at the interface of engineering and medicine.
Habib joined ZMT in January 2015 as a Application and Sales Engineer for Computational Life Sciences.
