Maria was born in 1983 in Alcoi, Spain. She received the Dipl. Ing. in telecommunications engineering from the Universitat d’Alacant (Alacant, Spain) in 2006, M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (València, Spain) in 2008 and PhD degree at the Universitat Politècnica de València (València, Spain) and the Paul Scherrer Institut (Villigen PSI, Switzerland) in July 2013.
In 2008, she joined the Fraunhofer Institut für Bauphysik in Stuttgart for a Practice as a Research and Development Engineer. In 2010 she joined the Paul Scherrer Institut for the development of her thesis, which was related with the production of recycled nuclear fuels by microwave internal gelation.
In 2013, she joined ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT), where she is responsible for the product development of the Validation Hardware. Her current research interests include numerical analysis and design of radiofrequency (RF) and high frequency (HF) components, and RF and HF measurement techniques.
