ZMT Zurich MedTech AG, a spin-off of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and the Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), develops and manufactures advanced, predictive computational simulation tools and high-quality evaluation and test systems. ZMT is committed to accelerating research on improving human health and quality of life. To enhance and strengthen our Computational Life Sciences team, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced:

Software Engineer, Computer Graphics

Your challenges:

  • Development of novel and maintenance of existing visualization-related features in our computational science platform Sim4Life
  • Development of novel algorithms that operate on and are for visualizing very large computational human anatomical models
  • Involvement in all stages of product development, from detailed analyses to the global level

Your strengths:

  • Experience with graphics frameworks and libraries or other graphics-related technologies
  • University or technical college degree (Bachelor, Master, or PhD) in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge
  • Fascination for the design of high-quality, user-friendly, reliable software
  • Above average knowledge of C++, practical experience writing C++ code of advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of algorithms and experience with computer graphics, meshing, computational geometry, and related problems
  • Good English and preferably German skills
  • Versatility, self-motivation, creativity, flexibility, ability to work to high standards independently while being part of a team
