Please get the latest NVIDIA driver for your hardware from the Acceleware website: https://acceleware.com/fdtd-11.1.13. Please note that only NVIDIA GPUs with CUDA Compute Capability 1.3 or higher are supported by the S4L CUDA solver (e.g., Tesla C10XX). New Features & Enhancements -------------------------------------------------------------------- 3.1. Modeling - Integration of Yoon-sun V4.0: First next generation ViP model which features neuro-functionalized nerve trajectories 3.2. Simulation - New elctrophysiological neuron fiber models: First unmyelinated C-fiber model and extended MRG models to distinguish between sensory and motor fibers. - EM simulations support now voxeling of dielectric trajectories. - Automatic assignment of nerve fiber model and parameters for the functionalized models. - Sim4Life supports now the simulation of Temporal Interference in neurostimulation. - MQS Solver now relaxes the vector potential field (A-field) requirement as input and allows to only provide the magnetic B-field as excitation field. 3.3. Analysis - New 5G Maximum Exposure Algorithm to find the largest power density that can be reached by a phased array antenna. - Sim4Life supports now the simulation of maximal temporal interference envelope modulation in neurostimulation. - The new histogram/cumulative histogram filter enables the exact computation of isopercentiles and isovolumes. 3.4. Optimizer - Optimization of coupled simulations, e.g., Coupled EM-NEURO multi-parameter optimization. 3.5. Modules - IMAnalytics improvements: new features in Python Notebook, including normalization based on the value of B1 at the isocenter of the birdcage, or based on its mean value across a slice. 3.6.HPC Computing - NVIDIA Volta generation GPU architecture support, e.g., supporting GPUs like Titan V, Quadro GV100, Tesla V100, etc. - Update in Acceleware library to enable concurrent execution of jobs. 3.7.
