ZMT is a co-sponsor of the ISMRM Workshop on Ensuring RF Safety in MRI: Current Practices & Future Directives. The symposium is organized by the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and takes place from September 28 – October 1, 2017, at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, McLean, VA, USA.
At the workshop, radiofrequency (RF) safety will be explored with respect to current safety standards and guidelines proposed by regulatory bodies, and other scientific or clinical groups. RF safety questions related to magnetic resonance (MR) scanners and implantable medical devices in an MR environment will be considered. Effects such as the underlying thermo-regulatory response to MR-induced heating in humans, thermo-physiological modeling and the determination of adverse thermal effects will play a major role in the discussions.
ZMT will be present with a booth to exchange ideas and introduce our latest innovations in validated in silico MRI analysis, including the powerful IMAnalytics module. The integration of MRIxVIP – comprehensive exposure libraries with validated 13’412 datasets – with IMAnalytics enables fast, verified, validated, and traceable evaluations of implant safety during magnetic resonance imaging.
At the symposium, Manuel Murbach, Project Leader of the IT’IS Foundation, will give a comprehensive introduction to ZMT’s revolutionary solutions: Embrace the big-data era with MRIxVIP-IMAnalytics. The complete solution to implant safety assessment.
We cordially invite you to visit us at our booth!
