Today, the IT’IS Foundation announced the release of the advanced computational NeuroRat V4.0 model with detailed neuroanatomy that features peripheral nerve trajectories and a co-registered brain atlas model (Waxholm Space Atlas) ‒ another important step in their efforts to support and partially replace laboratory experiments. The anatomy is based on high-resolution computed tomography and structural magnetic resonance imaging data acquired by the Animal Imaging Center at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich.

Overall, more than 200 participants from industry and academia explored SPEAG's and ZMT’s latest innovations and product updates, and discovered how SPEAG’s and ZMT’s solutions and technology roadmap adds value to their current R&D operations while anticipating future technological advances in 2017 and beyond.

Sim4Life V3.4 Release

ZMT is pleased to announce the release of Sim4Life V3.4, including our latest innovation – IMAnalytics – for the smooth, comprehensive, fast, and error-free analysis of the magnetic resonance safety of implants. In combination with IT’IS’ novel exposure MRIxViP libraries, the new module reduces evaluations from several weeks to just a few hours.

Sim4Life V3.2 Release

With the Sim4Life Release V3.2, ZMT has taken a further key step towards offering not only the most versatile tool for simulating the complex reality, but also providing powerful model, simulation, and analysis parameterization and optimization. The release of a preview version of the Sweeper is accompanied by other novel general and application-specific features - such as adaptive sub-gridding, special tools for the automated analysis of implants, tools for electroceuticals/bioelectric therapies as well as the design and analysis of 5G and of other wireless transmitters.

Sim4Life V3.0 Release

ZMT is pleased to announce the release of Sim4Life V3.0. This major release offers enhanced tools for in silico optimization of in-/on-body wireless devices, exposure assessment of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems and for the design of 5th generation (5G) wireless devices. It also adds many powerful new solvers and modules for neuronal and acoustic evaluations (e.g., brain and spinal cord stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound) and for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) optimization and demonstration of MRI-safety of  implants.

The Commission for Technology and Innovation CTI has nominated the research project entitled “S4L-CAPITALIS – In Silico Analysis and Optimization of Neurovascular and Neurological Devices and Treatments in the Head”, submitted by the IT’IS Foundation together with partner ZMT Zurich Medtech AG, for the prestigious CTI Swiss Medtech 2015 Award.
