
Javier García Ordóñez was born in Madrid, Spain, where he earnt his BSc in Biomedical Engineering (UC3M). He then obtained the La Caixa Scholarship to study the MSc Neural Systems and Computation at ETH Zurich.
Since joining Z43 in September 2022, Javier has advanced computational methodologies for electroceutical applications through the development of fast estimators and surrogate models, enabling systematic exploration and uncertainty quantification in clinical contexts. He is an active maintainer of the oSPARC platform and its ecosystem of community tools, and leads the development of automated computational pipelines for mobility restoration in collaboration with .NeuroRestore (EPFL).
