Sim4Life User Workshop @ ISMRM 2023
Our annual ISMRM Sim4Life User Workshop will be held again: Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 6:30pm – 10:00pm at Kensington Junior Ballroom, Delta Hotels by Marriott Toronto, Toronto, Canda
In our demo, we will showcase our latest tools and enhancements. In addition, selected invited experts will discuss how critical aspects of patient safety, such as unintended peripheral nerve stimulation, impacts the design of next-generation magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) gradient and radiofrequency (RF) coils — and why coupling electromagnetic, thermal, and electrophysiological computational modeling and simulation with high-resolution functionalized anatomical models is key to success.
The workshop will be opened with an overview of the new features in Sim4life. Then we will talk about the impact of Peripheral Nerve Stimulation of MRI gradient coils and gradient coil technology.
We will continue with the topic of ultra-high field MRI and will summarize and discuss the current state of safe implant scanning and what still needs to be improved by presenting results from two pan-European research projects.
Finally, an insight into an exciting new technology for monitoring heart failure with radiofrequency sensing will be provided and sharing how Sim4Life adds value to the technology research group.
The workshop will be concluded with an outlook on Sim4Life for 2023/24, introducing our strategy to explore the power of cloud computing for advanced in silico medicine.
