Application Engineer for Computational Electromagnetics (CEM)
Zurich43 is a leading global player in delivering break-through innovations and creating outstanding products for the safe and beneficial applications of electromagnetic energy and information technologies, as well as for novel and personalized medical treatments. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced application engineer for computational electromagnetics (CEM).
Your tasks:
- Development of showcases for various applications that demonstrate the features and capabilities of our simulation platform
- Technical support for our global users
- Technical presentations at seminars and workshops
- Participation in scientific conferences and exhibitions
- Research and observation of market trends and competitor products
- Collection of feedback from users and partners and collaborative work with the research and development teams to improve our simulation platform
- Support of the development team during all software release activities (e.g., testing of software, writing of application notes and manual, training sessions)
Your profile:
- University degree in electrical engineering or physics
- Solid background in electromagnetic (EM) theory
- Knowledge of and practical experience in at minimum one of the following areas: computational modeling and simulation, antenna design, medical device engineering, software development, scripting, web applications, electromagnetic field theory
- Good understanding of software development processes
- Willingness to take on responsibilities and awareness of top quality
- Friendly personality, good communication skills, and sensitivity to customer needs
- Fluency in English, working knowledge of German and/or any additional language is an advantage
- Willingness to be a strong team player
