Application Engineer for Computational Electromagnetics (CEM)

Zurich43 is a leading global player in delivering break-through innovations and creating outstanding products for the safe and beneficial applications of electromagnetic energy and information technologies, as well as for novel and personalized medical treatments. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and experienced application engineer for computational electromagnetics (CEM).

Your tasks:

  • Development of showcases for various applications that demonstrate the features and capabilities of our simulation platform
  • Research and observation of market trends and competitor products
  • Technical support for our global users
  • Participation at exhibitions and scientific conferences
  • Technical presentations and demonstrations during customer visits and at seminars and workshops
  • Collection of feedback from users and partners and collaborative work with the research and development teams to improve our simulation platform
  • Support of the development team during all software release activities (e.g., testing of software, writing of application notes and manual, training sessions)

Your profile:

  • University degree in electrical engineering or physics
  • Solid background in electromagnetic (EM) theory
  • Knowledge of and practical experience in at minimum one of the following areas: antenna design, microwave, EMC/EMI analysis and optical devices, EM simulations
  • Experience with general CEM simulation software
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities and awareness of top quality
  • Friendly personality, good communication skills, and sensitivity to customer needs
  • Fluency in English, working knowledge of German and/or any additional language is an advantage
  • Willingness to be a strong team player
