Our speakers this year are Emily Long (former GE Healthcare engineer), Umberto Zanovello (INRIM, Italy), Daniel Wenz (EPFL, Switzerland), Tolga Goren (IT’IS Foundation, Switzerland), and Arjama Halder and Michael Oberle of ZMT.
Emily will discuss her work at GE, studying the effect of receive-only flexible surface coil design on specific absorption rate in 3T pediatric MRI. Learn how Sim4Life and the IT’IS Virtual Population were crucial in enabling these assessments.
Daniel will focus on ultra-high field MRI, and describe how computational modeling and simulation allowed him to explore high-permittivity materials for applications such as neuroimaging, multi-nuclear radiofrequency (RF) coils, and flexible RF coils.
Umberto will introduce CoSimPy, an open-source co-simulation library he developed to enhance electromagnetic (EM) simulation with an EM/Circuit co-simulation framework – a powerful tool, leveraging the application programming interface extensibility of Sim4Life.
Tolga will give an update on the state of MRI and implant safety standards (ISO 10974, ASTM F2182, MT-40 and PAS) and their roadmaps for the next year.
Arjama will unveil ZMT’s brand new Sim4Life V8.0 web version, showcasing its powerful simulation and collaboration capabilities. Gain firsthand insights into the underlying architecture and how it was implemented in the cloud for effortless browser-based use without any installation.
The detailed agenda can be found here. Workshop participants will not only learn about the most advanced usage of Sim4Life for MR technology but will also receive a US$ 200 voucher for the new cloud version, Sim4Life.web.
Secure your spot today! Please send your registration request by e-mail as soon as possible as seating is limited and registration will be handled on a first-come-first-serve basis. You will receive a confirmation email within 24h.
And don’t forget to stop by our booth #D8! Our experts are available throughout the week, and will be giving lunchtime live demos introducing Sim4Life.web hands-on, as well as giving an overview of the MR implant safety workflow enabled by ZMT hardware and software solutions.
Sim4Life Live Demos will be held May 6–9 (Monday–Thursday), from 12:30 to 13:15 hrs at Booth #D8.
We look forward to welcoming you in Singapore,
