Successful ZMT Exhibit at NANS 2022 in Florida

After a nearly two-year exhibition break due to COVID-19 disruptions, ZMT travelled to the 25th NANS Annual meeting where experts presented the latest scientific research and technical developments in neuromodulation, with a focus on new approaches to pain management through spinal cord stimulation.

The North American Neuromodulation Society 25th Annual Meeting was held January 13–15, 2022, at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort, located in the heart of Walt Disney World Theme Parks in Orlando, Florida, USA. At the ZMT booth, we were excited to finally go back to live shows, connect directly with our old and new customers and showcase our flagship products and latest innovations, including:

  • new features in Sim4Life, which accelerate the design and optimization of neuromodulation technologies, and reduce the risk of translational investigations, enabling evaluations of fundamental safety and performance-related aspects of neurostimulation and neurosensing device applications
  • IMAnalytics and the MRixViP field exposure library, the first Medical Device & Development Tool (MDDT) qualified by the FDA that enables ISO 10974 related Tier 3 magnetic resonance imaging radiofrequency safety analysis in minutes rather than several months.

As a particular highlight, our “Short Talks @ ZMT Booth” provided insights into in silico modeling of near-organ modulation and sensing and the subsequent workflow that is driving the development of closed-loop technologies for therapeutical applications in bioelectronic medicine. We also showed how personalized and neuro-functionalized spinal cord models maximize treatment outcome by identifying the best location for electrodes, and personalizing treatment.

In addition, TI Solutions AG, the latest member of the Zurich 43 strategic alliance, introduced its hardware and planning software solutions enabling investigation of non-invasive temporal interference brain stimulation applications.

It was very exciting to finally meet many customers in person and to see our product show and short talks generate a lot of interest.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this year's event! We look forward to seeing you again at NANS 2023, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, in January 2023!
