The detailed agenda can be found

The workshop will be opened by Brian Rutt (Stanford University) and Peter Roemer (GE Healthcare, retired) with their keynote lecture entitled “Modeling Gradient-Induced Electric Fields with Relevance to Peripheral Nerve Stimulation Safety in MRI”, which addresses one of the most important issues facing the magnetic resonance imaging community. More insight on this topic will also be provided by Mathias Davids (Harvard Medical School) in his presentation on “Coupled Electromagnetic-Neurodynamic Modeling for MRI”. Next up will be Özlem Ipek (King’s College London), who will share her experience on “RF Coil Design and Safety Evaluations with Sim4Life”.
Following a short break, our traditional “Updates on MRI Safety” standards report will be delivered by Michael Steckner (Canon Medical Research USA, Inc.). ZMT’s latest developments, "Sim4Life’s
IMAnalytics Suite – Bringing RF Implant Safety Evaluations to the Next Level" will be presented by Mélina Bouldi, who will demonstrate how the new Sim4Life IMAnalytics Suite integrates with ZMT’s next generation MITS-TT compact benchtop medical implant test systems. An introduction to the instrument, "MITS-TT: A New Generation of Compact Medical Implant Test Systems", will be given by Lena Kranold of the IT’IS Foundation.
After a brief discussion of what is on the
Sim4Life horizon, all workshop participants are invited for a light dinner at the end of the workshop.
Registration is open and free-of-charge. Please note that, since only limited seating is available, places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in participating, reserve your spot via
email indicating your name and affiliation. You will receive a confirmation email upon registration.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in London at our workshop and at
Booth #G30, where we will showcase our latest developments!
