Save The Date: ISMRM Sim4Life User Workshop 2019

We are happy to announce that our annual ISMRM Sim4Life User Workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 6:30pm – 8:45pm in the InterContinental Hotel, Montreal. Participants will be able to learn how computational modeling and simulation together with validation hardware can advance research and development for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and how MRI implant safety assessments benefit from recent application-specific solutions such as IMAnalytics and the MRI exposure libraries (MRIxViP). This year, we will give particular focus to the importance of functionalized high-resolution computational anatomical phantoms, such as Yoon-sun V4.0 developed by the IT’IS Foundation, for successful numerical modeling of, e.g., peripheral nerve stimulation or thermal effects. Invited experts will provide updates on MRI safety standards and discuss potential future applications of in silico methods for MRI. Finally, we will present the latest features of our comprehensive Sim4Life simulation platform, including the new unstructured Electromagnetic Quasistatic (EM-QS) solver.
