ZMT Zurich Med Tech is pleased to announce the release of Sim4Life V2.0, a major update that takes the first comprehensive simulation platform to combine high-fidelity computable human phantoms with powerful physics solvers and advanced tissue models to new heights. This release delivers significant new improvements and capabilities to directly analyze biological real-world phenomena and complex technical devices in a validated biological and anatomical environment.
The advanced ViP V3.0 anatomical phantoms and the new solvers and tools greatly extend the range of tailored applications for Sim4Life to include neuroprosthetics, neurostimulation, therapeutic ultrasound treatment, focused ultrasound ablation, applicator development, acoustic exposure, vascular implants, biofluidics, and respiratory flow.
We also continued our efforts to improve our quality and traceability assurance (models), verification (code), and validation (applications) procedures. All current and future models are and will be assigned a unique digital object identifier (DOI), ensuring the availability of the model at any time. We are committed to providing high quality verification and validation documents for internal QA and regulatory submissions.
V2.0 widens its lead as the most comprehensive solution for MRI equipment, pulse sequence and imaging optimization and for compliance and safety assessments of implants with significant enhancements to the existing MRI modeling capabilities.
Key new features of Sim4Life V2.0 include:
The complete list of improvements and fixes is included in the Release Notes.
