The workshop series proved to be a resounding success which was reflected in the positive feedback received from participants. The series kicked off in Taipei, Taiwan on July 7, 2023 followed by Beijing (July 10), Shanghai (July 12) and Shenzhen (July 14). The aim was to showcase Z43's innovative solutions and foster discussions among industry professionals, while also providing an opportunity for networking and collaboration.
ZMT provided a sneak peek into their groundbreaking cloud-native simulation platform, sim4life.web, which is scheduled for launch this November. The novel platform enables high-performance cloud simulations on any device, providing the same performance as the desktop version, for the most complex scenarios. It offers instant sharing, is maintenance-free, highly flexible, and user-friendly. It also provides smooth integration of various pre-/post-processing tools and custom computational engines in the workflow. The latest features of the upcoming release of Sim4Life V8.0 were also presented, which will include a state-of-the-art rendering engine, enhanced graphical processing unit solvers, additional anatomical models, and numerous other improvements.
SPEAG presented the latest developments of its measurement and simulation tools, including innovations of several modules of the DASY product line. DASY8 module mmWave for power density testing of transmitters in the millimeter wave range and DASY8-3D, which enables precise positioning of the DUT on cSAR3D phantoms with the DASY8 robot, among others, attracted great interest. There were also informative presentations on MAGPy version 2, the DAK resonator for low-loss material measurements and the latest updates on SPEAG's EM phantoms.
Last but not least, TI Solutions AG demonstrated their Temporal Interference Brain Stimulator for Research together with the IT'IS planning tool for non-invasive deep neuro-modulation to facilitate the most advanced temporal interference (TI) stimulation research.
Attendees appreciated the opportunity to learn first-hand about Z43's latest hardware and software technologies. Beyond the informative presentations, networking and in-depth discussions continued during coffee breaks and dinners, providing a relaxed and informal environment for further interaction and knowledge sharing, as well as exploration of potential partnerships or collaborations.
To add excitement and promote engagement, the traditional raffle, including prizes such as a gold bar, a Moon Swatch, vouchers and Swiss chocolate, was conducted at each workshop and created a lively atmosphere.
A big thank you to the AUDEN team for creating once again a vibrant ecosystem where ideas were exchanged, and fruitful connections were made.
